The value of raw materials is NOT the whole picture of the market value of any product! A bar of iron costs $5, made into horseshoes its worth is $12, made into needles its worth is $3500, made into balance springs for watches, its worth is $300,000.
And what might you think the cost of the canvas, oils, brushed and pigment used in painting a masterpiece has in relation to the finished work?
Your own value is also determined by what you are able to make of yourself
